As a husband, polygamy does not give you the license to have intimacy with your wives at the same time. Instead, allocate separate and sufficient time for each wife. The act may look and feel ‘exciting’ but it is sinful and an abomination to God.
What does the Bible say about a threesome?
The Bible is silent on most sexual activities in the marriage bed. However, it gives us clear principles on what is acceptable and honorable for couples to practice in marriage.
Most Christians might argue that Jacob practiced a threesome with two sisters- Leah and Rachel. However, when we examine the scriptures it is clear that he never at any incident slept with both sisters. On the contrary, what we learn is that each of these women fought for Jacob’s attention for him to come and spend the night in their bedroom. They went to the extent of offering their maidservants to Jacob to have more kids and win his affection. This is how dirty polygamy can get, it is filled with jealousy and hatred.
Even when Lot’s daughters slept with their father, they did it on different days and not at the same time. The firstborn daughter made her dad drunk and went into him she then convinced the other daughter to do the same the next day.
The only place we see the act of orgy sex or group sex is in Genesis in the case of Sodom and Gomorrah, where a group of men went to Lot’s house to seek the visitors who had arrived to have sex with them. The other mention of group sex and rape is in the book of Judges 19:22-28 where some base men of Gibeah attacked a sojourner and abused his concubine till dawn until she died in the process.
The practice of threesomes whether done with consent or not is a perversion and an abomination to God. This act is fueled by lust from pornographic material that couples watch for sex education.
