LOVE IS NOT AN ILLUSION

I would like to clear a preconceived knowledge in your mind, that love is an illusion a magical feeling, or anything of such kind. True love is real and beautiful; however, love is not an illusion.

Love is like a garden that needs to be cultivated and invested in. It requires a lot to give a good output. It’s true to say, what you give is what you get. It is also true to say,” garbage in garbage out.” what you invest in your relationship is what you get. This principle is universal.

“Don’t be deceived: God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows he will also reap. Because the one who sows to his flesh will reap corruption from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.”
Galatians 6:7-8, NKJV

Love is about what you can give

Whatever each individual contributes to a relationship determines the fate of such a relationship. If your contribution is defective, then you can predict your fate.

Their times when although the input is right, the garden’s productivity may not be pleasing. This period calls for patience if such a relationship has to remain strong. However, patience is what the majority of us lack.

Just as the farmer sow’s seeds and waits patiently for the rains, it also calls for patience to hold on to love. Patience is a sign of maturity and true love must be tested.
